Backpack Checklist

This ABA-informed backpack checklist helps learners build independence with morning packing and afternoon unpacking. Page 2 explains how to take a picture of the packed bag, break the routine into small steps, teach one routine at a time, pair checks with praise, and fade prompts slowly. Page 3 is a morning checklist with large checkboxes for lunchbox, water bottle, homework folder, school device, jacket, glasses, medication, and zipping the bag. Page 4 is an afternoon unpacking checklist for putting the backpack away, emptying the lunchbox, taking out homework, showing papers, putting dirty clothes away, hanging up the jacket, packing tomorrow's items, and getting the backpack ready for morning. Page 5 is a weekly tracker for morning, afternoon, and reward routines across seven days with a weekly goal and notes section. Page 6 has a 12-box reward menu with ready-made ideas and a 30-point tracker. Page 7 is an award certificate. All pages print on letter paper and laminate well for reuse with a dry-erase marker.
